Review: November 2014 Splendies Subscription Box

Happy almost Thanksgiving readers! I recently discovered Splendies, an underwear subscription packages.  Splendies will send 3 pairs of undies to your mailbox every month for $12.00 including shopping, and right now they're having a promotion, which gives you your first box for $8.00 with the code SPLENDIES.  There is also a "no thongs" option for an extra $2.00.

Splendies come in S, M, L sizes and you have the freedom to change your size whenever you need, but keep in mind that in order for the size change to apply to the CURRENT month you must change it by the 8th of each month.  For our beautiful plus sized readers there is a Volupties subscription, which brings you the same variety of brands and cute undies in plus sizes for $17.00 a month.  I've had the subscription since October, but didn't get a chance to post them so we're gonna start in November. When I first found out about this subscription I was super excited.  Cute underwear for $4 each sent to me every month? The fact that I love surprises also helps.

A nice thing with the Splendies underwears is that they always come with tags.  While not all of them have a price tag, you can see that they are definitely new, and if you like the brand you could get the chance to purchase them where they are retailed.

For the November pack, Splendies included a Big Bang Theory themed undie. While I've only seen one or two episodes, I recognized Sheldon's Kitty Song on the underwear.  I think these are adorable and even if I'm not a particular fan, but I'm also biased because I have a cat ;). They feel comfortable, and I'm always looking for more cute fuller coverage undies.

This is the second time I've received an Intimate Basics underwear.  Just let me say that last month's was definitely MUCH cuter... they were some cute lace ones in a light blue color.  These ones on the other hand... I think the color is the biggest turn off.  They seem very comfortable and what I would describe as (TMI) period undies. I wish they were at least a better color, but I will still wear these.

I. Love. These.  As soon as I picked them up I could tell how comfortable they are.  The fabric is a sheer polyester feeling material, and the pink frills are soft and not irritating.  They are from a brand called Honeydew Intimates, which are retailed at selected Dillard's and Nordstroms as well as their own website.  According to the tag these panties retail for $16.00. These are my favorite of the pack, which makes sense because these are suppose to be a preview of the LUXE subscriptions that Splendies will be rolling out starting December, a $35/month subscription of "luxury brand" underwears.

There's a great variety of undies every month, ranging from comfortable cotton ones to sexy seamless ones (yeah, the ones that go for 30 bucks at Victoria's Secret).  If you getting cute quality underwear as well as subscription boxes I'd definitely suggest you check them out.  Again they are $12 a month, and your first month can be $8 if you use the code Splendies.  If you are plus sized check out Volupties for $17 a month.  If you really want to treat yourself, check out Splendies' LUXE subscription, for $35 a month.  Right now it is not possible to buy individual underwear off of Splendies' website, but based on their November survey they are considering the option.
